Religious transformation & Drift from music
In early 2010, Piyal left both his band and solo careers and, afterward, focused on his religious studies & academic studies. He suddenly started to religious study for especially atheists when they poked him by his surroundings, debate with themselves, and starts to practice his religion, content writing on few blogs and Facebook as well. From then he believes by his studies that only vocal music is permissible (halal) and musical instruments are forbidden (haram). After knowing one hadith from Sahih al-Bukhari (Hadith No#5590) he has quit Music for long almost 10 years. Music is sinful by the hadith is: Muhammad (PBUH) said: “There will be among my Ummah people who will regard as permissible adultery, silk, alcohol, and musical instruments”. He became engaged once more with his Islamic faith and decided to move away from a career as a musician.

Starting Islamic Acapella music
Samiur began working with Halal Entertainment. His debut song “Shukar Guzar” (শুকরগুজার) was released on 14 September 2018 with only vocal version. Hence there is a strong tradition of a cappella devotional singing. He is experiencing now Acapella music (group or solo performance without instrumental accompaniment). He is doing Acapella without Whistling, Clapping, Snapping the fingers, or Beatboxing (a form of vocal percussion primarily involving the art of mimicking drum machines). Wants to become a singer-songwriter of contemporary Islamic music with a strong Muslim religious influence. He is trying to Nasheeds (The material and lyrics of a nasheed usually make reference to Islamic beliefs, history, and religion, as well as current events.), Sufi specially Qawwali, hamd (a song in praise of Allah), naat (a song in praise of Muhammad), Ghazals (songs of intoxication and yearning, which use the language of romantic love to express the soul’s longing for union with the divine.) He still studying about acapella, Raag & various moods, scales & maqams. He starts to pick sweet music from various sources and cover these. In popular music, a cover version, remake, cover song, revival, or simply cover, is a new performance or recording by someone other than the original artist or composer of a previously recorded song. Musicians now play what they call “cover versions” (the reworking, updating, or interpretation) of songs as a tribute to the original artists, and it works.

Breakthrough and success his Islamic solo career
On 2 November 2018, Piyal successfully covered “Allahu Allahu” song of a great late folk singer Abdul Alim and Halal Entertainment published it with only vocal version, and it became the highest viewed song of his career till now. On occasion, a cover can become more popular than the original. Along with this song, most of his song till now is cover song such songs as, “Dui Chakkat Cycle”, ” Sare Tin Hat Mati ” and “amar desher matir ghodhe”. Some songs are written by Samiur such songs as, “Shukar Guzar”, “Mokkay Gele”, “Nioti” and “Lage ki ar Gaan” (Partly written by Sharif Muhammad), were popular and hits of his career. Some songs are “ft.” (featuring) by Samiur such songs as, “Nioti”, “Ak Chala tiner Ghor”, and “Lage ki ar Gaan”, were popular. Featuring roughly means something like “with support from” or “with participation of”. Most of the time the ft. is going to be another singer in the song with the singer who owns the song.

Now he would say the biggest influences to his singing or compositions are National Poet and composer Late Kazi Nazrul Islam, Ghulam Ali Khan, Mehedi Hassan, A. R. Rahman, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Abida Aprveen, Shafkat Amanat Ali Khan, Kailash Kher, and Bengali folk like Baul Lalon Fakir, Rabindranath Tagore.
